陕西警官职业学院是经陕西省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由陕西省教育厅主管的全日制公办高等职业院校，主要开展高等职业学历教育，同时承担在职警官培训工作。

学校在1953年10月举办的陕西省司法干部培训班的基础上发展起来，1992年经国家教委批准成立陕西省政法管理干部学院，正式举办成人大专教育。

2003年4月，经陕西省人民政府批准，成立陕西警官职业学院，2004年4月报教育部备案。

陕西警察职业学院位于西安市，分设工路校区和灞桥校区，总占地面积803亩，学院下设5系5部，开设14个高职专业，学生7000多人，教职工350多人。
