A couch potato“北京瘫”，“宅男宅女”的英语口语训练

对于英语基础比较初级的学习者，用中文知道英语a couch potato是“沙发上的土豆”，也就是“长时间瘫在沙发上电视的人”已经觉得学到很多东西了。

但是，对于基础较好的人来说，我们就需要对他们做高一点的英语口语训练了。

1) 英语阅读：

Slang：a couch potato

A person who spends much time sitting or lying down, usually watching television.

A lazy person whose recreation consists chiefly of watching television and videos, or a person whose leisure time is spent watching television.

2) 英语口语自我训练：

上面的英语不是用来做“英译汉阅读”的，是用来做自我英语口语训练的：

1. Okay.Got you. A couch potato is an English slang(口头语).

2. If you always spend your leisure time doing nothing but lying down on the couch and watching TV, then we say：You are a couch potato(北京瘫，宅男宅女).

3) A couch potato means a lazy man or woman. They spend much of their leisure time sitting or lying down, usually watching television.
