We all know that we’d be healthier and hppier if we exercise regularly. But, in reality(事实上), it rarely(很少地) happens. The Us govenment suggests that people have at least 150 minutes of exercise a week. For many people, however, this sounds like a difficult task(任务).A new study suggets that you don’t have to exercise that much to stay healthy. Even little bits of exersice are enough to improve heart health. The study analyzed(研究) 33 earlier studies about the link(链接) between exercise and the risk(风险) of heart disease(疾病); nine of the studies examined(检查) the amount(数量) of exercise people got. The researchers found that people who got 150 minutes of exercise a week had a 14% lower risk of heart disease than those who didn’t do any exercise.Of coures, more was better. People who did 300 minutes of exercise a week had a 20% drop in the risk of heart disease, compared with(与……相比较) those who didn’t exercise at all. Beyond that, however, the benefits tended(往往会) to become less obvious(明显的). Those who got 750 minutes a week had a 25% lower risk of heart disease than those who didn’t exercise.The researchers also found that even little bits of exercise just 75 minutes a week, which is about an easy 15 minutes walk each weekdays-offered great benefit. People who didn’t do that much exercise still enjoyed a 14% lower heart risk than those who din’t exercise at all.The resullts should encourage(鼓励) us to do at least a little bit more exercise a day even if we are busy. And they could help encourage the inactive(不积极) people to get started. “If you are doing nothing, do something”, Barry Franklin, a spokesman for the American Heart Association, said,”And if you are doing something, for example, walking 10 or 15 minutes, two to three times a week do more.”
